Manufacturing Engineering, Inc. is a leading provider of lean manufacturing solutions. Lean Manufacturing derives it name from the manufacturing systems and processes of the Toyota Production System that are so effective at producing at low cost, high quality, and short cycle times. These systems are highly flexible and responsive to customer requirements.
We design and implement Lean Manufacturing solutions to meet the objectives of our customers. We take on programs to reduce cost, reduce customer lead time, reduce inventory, and improve on-time delivery.
Our design approach is to document the value stream through a detailed flow model of the entire process. From this model, waste is identified and the system redesigned to reduce waste and meet the performance objectives.
Generally, the design results in a plant layout, equipment, training requirements, cost, and a benefits analysis to meet the objectives.
We perform computer simulations of our designs and use this tool to modify the design to meet the performance objectives. This tool reduces the risk and helps ensure a successful implementations. We use a powerful object oriented simulation tool called Flexsim ED.
As we are a technology based company, we can integrate technology solutions from the latest manufacturing and process technology. This includes commercially available technology and where appropriate we can design, test, and implement technology solutions.
