Most companies have major opportunities to reduce cost and improve customer service through the application of "Lean" technologies in both the administrative and production areas of the company. The issue often is where to start and how to start! This Opportunity Analysis provides a Kaizen approach to defining the opportunities and the first project for implementation. Upon completion the team is sold on the implementation plan and is ready for action. 

This is a low cost Kaizen analysis that provides the insight to the opportunity and is specific to your business.  One of our Senior Project Managers spends 4 days working with your team to determine the opportunities, determine the financial and performance benefits, and outline an implementation plan with costs. We also provide a benchmark using the Industry Week Toolkit. On day 4 an executive presentation of the teams results is reviewed with senior management. 

The work plan for completing the analysis generally includes the following and in each case we provide a proposal outlining what will be accomplished at your facility:

• Establish an analysis team

• Provide 4 hours of lean training

• Establish the vision for improvement

• Benchmark performance using IW Toolkit

• Complete the Lean Scorecard if appropriate

• Determine the major opportunities for improvement and estimate the business benefits of making these improvements

• Provide the roadmap for improvement and the cost for the next step

• Summarize results in an executive presentation and review with management
