In today's manufacturing environment customers are demanding lower order quantities and rapid delivery time. This puts a real constraint on a business and creates idle time that is wasted. To minimize waste, businesses need to move quickly from one product, one order, or one service to the next. This is accomplished through a rapid changeover capability that was developed by the Japanese as part of the lean tool set.

Manufacturing Engineering, Inc. has a proven track record of successful Quick Change program implementation in a variety of manufacturing environments. Let us help to improve your customer responsiveness, reduce downtime, and increase capacity by implementing a customized Quick Change program in your company.

We work with our customers in two ways:

  • First, we can work with you to implement a sustainable Quick Changeover program in your facility through the involvement of your employees. This is a train-implement as we go program where we facilitate the training, the implementation, and coach throughout the implementation. If you have an interest in the "Quick Changeover Implementation" provide us some additional information about your situation and we will review it and contact you.  Click "Quick Changeover Request" to provide your information.

  • Second, we provide a 2-day hands-on Quick Changeover training at your facility conducted by one of our Senior Practitioners with years of Quick Changeover implementation experience. We use one machine or process in your facility during the trainings to teach and apply the training. So at the end of the training your employees better understand the concepts and have concrete plans defined for implementing Quick Changeover.  Contact us about your specific Quick Changeover training needs and we will get back with you.
