Managing the supply chain is important to most all companies. Often the cost of materials represents the largest single cost element to the organization and this becomes even more important as companies outsource more materials. Our services are geared to helping companies reduce the cost of these purchased materials. We find there is generally a lot of room for improvement and supply chain programs pay for themselves in less than 12 months. Our services offerings are geared around the following capabilities. Managing Supply: We help companies manage the supply of materials by providing total cost and material cost impact analyses and by providing services to develop the supplier network. Synchronizing Demand: We develop and implement technology for synchronizing supply to meet demand for the products. We do product family analysis and value-stream mapping to understand the process. Then we provide demand planning methods that allow the objectives to me met. We are implementers, there to help implement the changes and make the program a success. Optimizing Inventory: We bring tools to the part that help our clients optimize inventory. The Opportunity Analysis: We have a product called our "Supply Chain Analysis" that is used to define the key opportunities in the supply chain. This is a low cost analysis that provides the insight to the opportunity and is specific to your business. One of our Senior Project Managers spends 4 days working with your team to review the chain chain issues, define improvement opportunities, determine the financial and performance benefits, and to outline an implementation plan with costs. On day 4 an executive presentation of the teams results is reviewed with senior management. The Next Step: Fill out the Supply Chain Request and we will schedule a phone conference to discuss your specific needs. If there is continued interest we will provide a work plan that is geared to your specific situation and upon approval begin work. |
